1. The proof that loving eyes can sift

a. What is the poet talking about here?

Ans. The poet talking about our patience and determination. According to the poet, we should remain calm and determined even we face many difficulties in our life. 

b.What can loving eyes do?

Ans. The loving eyes prove the common things as precious gold or treasure. In childhood, all common things are as gold for children. So, we should also take both things as the same either they are big or small. 

c. What according to the poet is 'hidden gold'?

Ans. According to the poet, the hidden gold is our precious childhood memories.


2. It's not enough to find and hold,

a. What does the poet talk about finding and holding?

Ans. The poet talking about childhood activities that become precious memories for us. He is saying to children to enjoy their childhood with happiness and hoard and do new things whatever they like. 

b. What should we do with things that have been found?

Ans. The poet says that we should keep safe all the things which we found as it is gold for us. We should learn the art to keep as a treasure to children.

c. Does the value of things change if they are treated differently?

Ans. No, we should take all things equal and never discriminate between small and big things. We should learn this art to the children.

3. Where price is known but not the cost

And nothing can ever be found.

a. Is the poet talking about the price of an object here?

Ans. Poet is not talking about materialistic objects. He is talking about precious childhood of memories and childhood.

b. what is the difference between price and cost?

Ans. In the poem, according to the poet, price is referred to the market value of materialistic objects whereas cost refers to precious childhood memories.

c. What does the poet feel can never be found?

Ans. The poet felt that if we lost the childhood precious time that we can not found again. The poet says we should always value things whether they are costly or cheap because the things found are memories and thus more precious than material objects.
