Q1. According to the poet, what is the thing that always survives?

Ans. According to the poet, courage and kindness always survive. 


Q2. Explain the meaning of the first two lines of the poem.

Ans. In these first two lines the poet telling that where there is no education. There is only darkness; illiteracy. And the sparks; the brave people, those who want to educate them but unable to give due to the violence of the Taliban. So, they are hidden. 


Q3. “How dare they take away my Education?”

a. Who said this?

Ans. Malala, the brave girl said these words. She wants to get an education because education is the right for all children.

b. What does this tell us about the speaker?

   Ans. The speaker is very brave and courageous, who knows the importance of education in life. She showed her bravery to get right for education. 


Q4. What did Malala do to express her thoughts and fight for her choice?

Ans. Malala told the importance and right of education to all other girls. She went to school without fear but a terrorist shot her head in the school bus. But they could not kill his courage. 


Q5. How did the world respond to Malala’s bravery?

Ans. Malala becomes an inspiration for other girls. She was awarded by Noble Peace Prize. The world respects her bravery.
